KEY CLUB INTERNATIONAL
Executive Board
Since its founding in 1925, Key Club International is the oldest and largest service program for high school students with over 270,046 active members. It is a student-led organization whose goal is to teach leadership through helping. Key Club International is a part of the Kiwanis International family of service-leadership programs. Many local Key Clubs are sponsored by a local Kiwanis club. The Berea Kiwanis sponsors Berea-Midpark High School’s Key Club.
With approximately 63 members, Berea-Midpark’s Key Club is ran under the guidance of math teacher, Ms. Theresa Hahn, and its Lt. governor, Sarath Kareti from North Royalton High School.
Our biggest event of the year is the Benefit Show, taking place on Sat. Jan 20th. We will be raising funds for the Thirst Project, which is the Ohio District’s chosen service project for the year. The Thirst Project is a youth-lead organization that is bringing safe, fresh, accessible drinking water to countries in Africa lacking these resources. Our goal as not only as a club, but as Key Club members as a whole is to give all of Swaziland access to clean water by 2020.
