KIWANIS CLUB OF BEREA
Text Box: In North America for every 1,000 people, 19 children under the age of 6 are living in poverty. In North America, for every 1,000 people there is I Kiwanian. There is a great need! Join Us. Text Box:  The Berea Kiwanis Club has helped out at the Olmsted Falls Thanksgiving Dinner for the past three years.  The two people who put this on do an amazing job and have for 17 years.  No only do they put together an extremely good, full Thanksgiving dinner, but they also decorate the church for the many who come to eat dinner.  Many people call in orders and they delivery to Olmsted Falls and Berea, in addition to the police and firemen.  What a privilege to be able to be a part of this service project.

Text Box:  We were privileged to have Robbie Robinson as our guest speaker in November. He spoke on his experiences, and some no so pleasant experiences, during WWII. He was also fortunate enough to be able to bring home a dog he befriended, that lived with his family for many years and became a celebrity. Text Box:  The members of the club, made blankets for Providence House at a recent meeting in lieu of a regular speaker. It was fun, quick, and easy to put these blankets together, but even better, they will keep children warm.
