American Flags Over Berea
Text Box: The Berea Kiwanis is excited to announce its new annual Patriotic Flag Program, to be displayed for the first time on Memorial Day Weekend. Berea Kiwanis is initiating this project to give Bereans an opportunity to participate in a patriotic project and help Kiwanis increase the amount of scholarships and service to the community. We currently have space for approximately ninety flagpoles. Each pole stands 18 feet in height. This will be an excellent opportunity for you to show your patriotism, enhance the image of the community and advertise your business or to dedicate an American Flag in memory of a loved one. A custom sign will accompany your flagpole, which will be displayed in high visibility areas through the City of Berea beginning with scenic Coe Lake park. How to participate in the program: The first year of sponsorship will cost $250 per flag. To renew in the future years, the cost will be $175 per year. The cut off for sponsorship each year will be May 10th. The name of the sponsor will be displayed on a sign placed in front of their flagpole. The flags will be flown all day for approximately 60 days per year to observe the following: Memorial Day, Flag Day, 4th of July, Patriots Day and Veterans Day.
